Ground Covered:
New Haven, CT -> NY -> NJ -> PA -> OH -> Indianapolis, IN
Once upon a cold evening in New Haven, CT, an idea was born, that of an epic cross-country road trip across America. This was built upon the fact that post-graduation, one Ms. Marissa Matsler would need to return to Oregon, and one Ms. Katie Hawkes would need to return to California. One Ms. Julie Goodness, upon realizing she would not see her LA-locked brother for a very long time, incorporated herself into the scheme. This fledging idea did not materialize easily, but after the purchase of several plane tickets, the physical persuasion of Mama Goodness by Ms. Hawkes in front of Cafe Romeo's, and thorough checkup of Ms. Matsler's Little Car, it became apparent that the dream would indeed become reality. So it was that on that fateful morn of May 30th, Marissa and Katie departed from the City of New Haven for the last time, rescued Ms. Goodness from the aftermath of a wedding in the dirty state of New Jersey, and set off upon their journey into the horizon. And so it began...
